Pacific Coast Recycling Inc. was incorporated in San Jose, California in 1996 and operated initially as a roll-off trucking business. In the beginning of 2000, we opened our Transfer Station located at 5895 Obata Way in Gilroy accepting general debris, construction and demolition debris, and recyclable materials including scrap metals. In 2007 the company established a storage and transportation hub located in Dos Palos, California to support our transportation division in servicing the customers we have located throughout the central valley. In 2010 we opened our scrap metal yard located at 340 Obata Court where we purchase ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Pacific Coast Recycling Inc. currently has a fleet of 20+ commercial trucks and more than 30 trailers of various types moving materials and products to our facilities and out to numerous vendors and end users. Our team has grown over the years and our employees are the heart and soul that drives our success.
We take pride in the fact that we supply a bulk of material to local companies in the central coast, central valley, and northern California region further helping support our local economies. With the support of our customers, recycling reduces the need for mining, lowers production costs for aggregate, compost, paper, plastic, wood, and metal manufacturers and helps deliver quality products throughout the world. This helps us achieve our approach to intelligent resource management and re-use.
We are continually pursuing growth opportunities that integrate with our existing business units and operations. Pacific Coast Recycling Inc. currently has 3 divisions our Transfer Station, Scrap Metal Yard and Transportation division so what can we do to help you?
